Story or THE (INVESTIGATION) GATE of the Lion and the Bull [3 of 90]

“My sons, everyone who lives in the world is concerned with three things, which can only be achieved through four other means.

1. The first of those three things is abundant and superfluous sustenance,

2. The second thing is honor before people and a good name.

3. The third preparation for the future world.

of those other means;

1. The first legal acquisition of wealth,

2. The second good management of the same,

3. The third thing is to take care of one 's own needs, which nature demands.

4. The fourth: Generosity towards relatives, charity towards the poor, alleviation of the distress of the needy.

Through these three things one becomes pleasing to his Creator; but whoever does not store these four (means) in his barns or loses one of them cannot enjoy his wealth and will not reach the goal of his expectation.
