    Story or THE (INVESTIGATION) GATE of the Lion and the Bull [18 of 90]

    Kalilag spoke:

    "Consider it carefully, for it is difficult to serve a powerful person. Indeed, the wise have said that one searches in vain for a person who can do the following three things and remain unharmed through their wisdom:;"

    First: drink deadly poison;

    Secondly: to trust a woman and reveal his secret to her;

    Thirdly: Serve the powerful.

    Again, it is said that a great lord is like an iron mountain, on which there is a garden full of fruit trees, but also hyenas, bears, panthers, lions and other wild animals, so that one is afraid to climb it and finds it difficult to stay there.
