    Near him lived a lion who dwelt in these fields and had a multitude of jackals, foxes, and all sorts of other predators around him. This lion was wise, but he didn't concern himself with affairs and was drunk with pride in his dominion.

    When the lion and his retinue heard the voice of the bull Sizbug, they were afraid, because they had never before seen a bull or heard its voice. But the lion, thinking, "My retinue mustn't realize I'm afraid," pretended to be fearless and stood calmly in his place.
